The Manufacturer signs Raam Shankar as a columnist

The CEO and founder of Equitus Design Engineering and Innovations has been named as a columnist for The Manufacturer.

Raam Shankar will contribute to the global publication’s print magazine and online operation.

The 41-year-old TedX Alumni began writing for The Manufacturer this month with his column ‘Is now the time to redefine what the supply chain is?’

Topics covered by Raam during 2022 will continue to centre on the supply chain in manufacturing.

He said: “It’s an honour to contribute to what is the premier industry publication – and one that has a global reach.

“This year is an important one for the whole industry and will culminate with the Manufacturing Leaders’ Summit in Liverpool.

“Some huge developments and changes in manufacturing sectors are already afoot this year, much of which has been captured insightfully by The Manufacturer.

“The publication is an essential resource for every manufacturing boardroom and for senior management. And I look forward to sharing my thoughts on some critical issues while bringing forward solutions to an increasingly complex supply chain.”

Raam Shankar is an advisor to companies in the UK, India and Silicon Valley, UK India Trade Portal and sits on the TiE UK North Board.

Equitus’ roster of clients includes the European Space Agency, Magtec, Pall Corporation, Sellafield, STFC, Centrax Gas Turbines, AMOT Corporation and Kawasaki.
